Redefined Brief- Design lighting for middle income group bedroom.
Here I have tried to bridge the gap between ambient lighting which can be a tubelight or a bulb on the wall or a lampshade and a task light- a table lamp for reading.
The arm can be rotated to turn the light directly down on the table to give a glarefree ambient lighting or it can be lifted up to be directed towards the bed where one is reading.
It's form is inspired from phone receiver.

Landlines have been a staple product on the bedside table since old times, but with the use of cell phones the use of landlines have dwindled

This tries to bring a sense of familiarity and nostalgia to the whole ambience in the bedroom.
